Windows Vista – the beginning of the end? Hardly

Windows Vista – the beginning of the end? Hardly Pointing at Microsoft’s failures becomes more and more popular. Recently I had a joy to read a great post from Gary Wisniewski, that finds much similarity between Vista and dBase issues. His conclusion – the Windows end is near.

While I agree with most Gary’s observation, I still think that Windows is far from being dead. Vista is only part of the picture. Microsoft is the only company to offer the complete integrated solution for business, from client operating system to server solutions. This combination gives Microsoft lots of time to fix its mistakes and build a better product. Until some other company offers all the parts of the puzzle I doubt that we would see the new OS taking Windows place.
